In 2022, an events planner named Lorraine Marcel was asked to organize a Bitcoin meetup in Nairobi. She walked into the room and noticed something she'd spent her career noticing about rooms: there were almost no women in it. That observation became Bitcoin Dada, then Dada Devs, then Dada Hub.
