1. Acceptance of terms

By using dadahub.org (the "Site") or any service offered by Dada Hub, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

2. Who can use the Site

The Site is available to anyone interested in Dada Hub's membership, training, hiring, partnership or event offerings. Some features, like signing in or registering for a paid event, require accurate, up-to-date information from you.

3. Accounts and sign-in

We use passwordless sign-in: a link is sent to the email address you provide. You're responsible for keeping access to that email account secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

4. Forms and submissions

When you submit a talent request, membership application, partner inquiry, event registration, or contact message, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it with us.

5. Dashboards and roles

Signed-in Dadas/Dada Devs and Partners get access to a dashboard scoped to their own account, profile, event and payment records, others cannot see your dashboard data. Payment records shown there are entered manually by our team to track contributions received outside the Site (e.g. M-Pesa, sats, USDC), they are a record-keeping ledger, not a live payment processor. Admins can view and manage data across all accounts to operate the Hub.

6. Paid events

Some Dada Hub events are ticketed. Prices are shown on the event listing at the time of registration. Refund and transfer requests for paid events can be sent to hello@dadahub.org and are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Talent placement

Dada Hub connects companies with engineers from our talent pipeline. We take reasonable care in how we present and match talent, but any hiring, contracting, or employment relationship formed as a result is directly between the company and the engineer, Dada Hub is not a party to that agreement.

8. Dada assistant (AI chat)

The Dada assistant chat widget uses an AI model to answer questions about Dada Hub's services, pricing and events. It's provided for general information only, it may occasionally be wrong or incomplete, and it's not a substitute for confirming details with our team. Please don't share sensitive personal or payment information in the chat.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, abuse or harm another person.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other accounts, or our systems.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site's normal operation.

10. Intellectual property

The Dada Hub name, logo, and the content on this Site belong to Dada Hub unless otherwise noted, and may not be used without our permission.

11. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work to keep information accurate and the Site available, but we don't guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dada Hub is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever we do. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
